Embark on a transformative eight-week journey into the captivating realm of pottery with our weekly wheel throwing class.

Led by expert teacher Jo Vaughan, each weekly session is a stepping stone in mastering the wheel, from centering the clay to shaping clay into functional and artistic forms.

This extended eight-week course allows participants to delve deep into the nuances of the craft, fostering skill development and artistic expression. Each class includes access to an unlimited amount of pugged black or white stoneware clay (no wedging! Yay!!) and a studio fitted out with everything your creative heart desires. You are encouraged to hone your skills making and refining as many items as you like during each session and then choose your favourite 4 pieces to bisque fire. All your practice pieces will be slaked down and recycled ready for your next throwing session.

Once fired your pieces will be ready for decorating and glazing. The studio is equipped with an extensive range of slips, underglazes, dipping and brush-on glazes and all the necessary tools and equipment you'll need.

All your glazes work will be glaze fired and ready for you to collect and enjoy a couple of weeks later.
