Join us for our Beginner Throwing and Glazing Classes held every Saturday.

Lesson 1

Begin your journey in the world of pottery with your first pottery lesson. 

In your first 2 hour lesson our skilled instructors will teach you how to center, open out, pull and shape your clay. With an unlimited supply of ready-wedged clay you'll be able to practice and hone your new-found skills to create as many bowls, cups and vases as you desire. At the end of the class you'll chose the pot that sparks the most joy in you and we will carefully dry, trim and bisque fire it for you ready for your next lesson.

(Can't decide on just one pot? Keep as many pots as you like for $15 per extra pot. This covers all the extra materials as well as trimming.)

Lesson 2

A couple of weeks after your first lesson, you'll come back into the studio for an hour and we'll teach you how to glaze your creations using you choice of dipping or brush-on glazes from our extensive glaze selection. You'll learn about different types of glazes, how they work and the best way to apply them.

Once your pieces are glazed we'll glaze fire them and they'll be ready to be collected and admires usually about 2 weeks later.

This two-part experience is crafted to offer a comprehensive introduction to the world of pottery, providing the perfect balance between hands-on throwing and the artistic flourish of glazing. Every participant leaves with not just a piece of art but a newfound passion for the craft.
